It's brand new, I've only got two tanks threw it and it was tough.

WES 69, The settings on CEN's website are not for the Matrix, the lowside needle should be 4 turns in from flush. I printed their break in guide, and it had me more screwed up than just trying to do it myself. They do not put settings for the motor in with the car, they are not on thier website, and you have to call them to get support. You can find the phone number on the website. It is not toll free. Good luck.

what are the starting options for this buggy? i've been looking for a used car to get into the buggy scene, and i'm having problems contacting the sellers i'm talking to, so i'm thinking about just buying one of these. i've got just enough to get one at ebay pricing, but thats it for now. if i have to buy a starter box, i may have to keep trying my used search, unless there is a really cheap way to get these started. i have all the other things needed because i run mt's and st.

They come with a pull starter. You can use a bumpbox, and I think a tiger dirve is available.

great!

I should know soon about the tigerdrive as far as the stock motor goes and the fit. I sent my NX 26 engine in and they are going to put a tiger drive unit on and send it back and the starting wand.

Just so you know, CEN does not have breakin instructions included for the motor and I am not seeing anything on there site. So I would give them a call as well as email about this.

They also need a nicer looking setup sheet, I like what I see for the Genesis but the Matrix one doesn't look as nice.

I did a full teardown of my vehicle sunday, and all in all it was in excellent condition. I need to polish the hingepins and relace one of the bushings for the hingepin brace but other than that, good to go.

I shimmed all 3 of mine with 1 shim. Then I took them all out about 3-4 tanks later. I read that here.

I am in the process of finding this out. Sullivan has a thing where you can send your motor in if its not on the list and they will check it out, see what version fits, and then send you back the motor with the tigerdrive unit free of charge. I think you get the starting wand as well.

So they have my NX .26 and I am hoping to hear back from them today as they tried to email me yesterday but my account was full.

Main thing will be how you mount the engine back into the vehicle with the tigerdrive. I think the drive is going to be a hair too big if you orient the starting position from the pipe side. only solution I see is having the "hole" accessed from the top but using an angle with the starting wand. Will it work, don't know. I should have sent them my pipe as well to see how well it clears.

Quote taken from the S-grid posted by Andrew Smolnik

"The Matrix Factory Pro Kit will be at the distributors early March.

Our Truggy will be here in June. "

I got contacted back by Sullivan and they have two version of the tiger drive, one that looks like the standard backplate configurations and another that is what you normally see on there site. I am waiting for them to say how big this other style is. If its under I believe 24.5mm it should work.

I was looking at that at first but hear of breakage issues so I figured to shop around. If this tigerdrive doesn't work out, I may give it a go or just get a starter box.

the starter box is probably the most reliable option you can go with.
