Yes, thank you CEN. Now if anybody gets the new axles please post it up and let us all know where we can get them. My LHS doesn't carry CEN products. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like the axle is still hollow and 8mm dia. Is the only difference that the set screw and threads of the hollow part are a smaller diameter? (probably from 4mm to 3mm.)

Hi guys. If you do break an axle while it is under warranty please don't hesitate to send it to the warranty/repair department at CEN Racing for a replacement.

Also, please make sure that you are not overtightening the set screw pin. Also check the factory settings on this pin as some customers have relayed that these pins are too tight.
exactly.. i have my 47T spur melted and try to take it out and mail it back to CEN as a warrantly.. but i finally mail the whole thing back to CEN bcoz their factory setting is just tooo tight(the screw pin locked at the shaft), i slipped 3 screwer but just can;t open it still..
but they promised to help me with it.. so i m look forward on it.

What Genesis Twin said is correct. The axle is not solid. The set screw size has been reduced to add more material to the axle.

I know some of our factory drivers are not even using the set screw to hold the pin in, but care must be taken not to loose your axle pin when you are changing a tire.

So what are the new measurments of the new axle stubs? Just curious. Thanks again, I just ordered another set of replacement axles for my Nem again, hopefully it's the last time I will have to order the old ones.

Cen, any chance you can sell the upgraded axles at a discounted price if we send in our old axles (unbroken)? I've spent so much money on spares of the original ones I'd love to be able to just have a set of the upgraded ones and trade in the spares.......

Thanks

Hi guys,
Unfortunately we do not do direct sales so there would be no way for us to sell you the new axles. Sorry for the inconvenience.

CEN Racing-

I think your missing the point...why not just offer those of us who already have the truck to send in the old axles for new axles? That way you don't have to sell us anything directly, just like you do with the replacement warranty/repair. We can even provide copies of our receipts.

Thanks,
BL

You dont have to do direct sales...heres a concept for you.... how about if anyone sends the old axles to you (broken or not), you will send them a replacement (upgraded) part free of charge. You cant get much fairer than that.

Might be worth contacting Cen first and see what they say.

I understand that phoning them is pretty effective. If you live in the US, that is. Maybe worth a shot - as a rough guide, theyll be about 8 hours behind us... I think... give em a ring about 8pm UK time and you might just get somewhere. Number is on their website.

CityHunter3R is right! Just send in your broken axles with a note and a copy of your purchase reciept. If you have the old axles they will have a larger diameter set screw. If your axle isn't broken please don't send it, because they will only replace the broken ones.

They are really good about the axles so send them in, make sure you include name, address, phone and email address when doing this on a TYPED letter.

Thanks and good racing...
