Default Why You Choose a GST 7.7

Just like to know WHY?

Honestly, I like the size of the beast, you don't call your monster truck a "MONSTER TRUCK" if other trucks is BIGGER than yours!
I was love a first sight. I was struggling at first because there's absolutely no spares or back up service from where I am, Singapore.
Well, I just follow my heart!
Now, I'm working on the list of replacement parts I need!
Hell! Or just but one more GST 7.7 for spare...

The large scale of the truck, large engine size, 3 speed transmission, and reverse sold me. Everyone who sees my Genesis is blown away at it's size.

Although the Cen Racing stuff is okay, I much prefer the quality design of the Team Losi trucks which are built on proven racing suspension.. The Genesis I had was very nose heavy, didn't take jumps well and the aftermarket parts availability was low.

Big Trucks but so are some of the other 1/8th Scale Race Trucks (Team Losi LST2)

Hey VKGT, wanna meet me at Hobbytown on Speedway Next to the "Bashful Bandit" on tuesday to see how a nemesis jumps with controlled attitude?? A CEN Genesis/Nemesis Series is VERY controllable in the air!!!! I have tested a bashing cage I am slowly developing, and part of that testing is landing on the roof, which the Genesis/Nemesis/GST can do on command either by flipping forward by hitting the brakes in air or flipping backwards by pegging the throttle!!!! The point is this truck is VERY controllable. I yours landed noseheavy then you setup needed help!!

Besides have you seen the aftermarket parts on My Nemesis?? I will show you tuesday!!ok?

Quality?? Well, I would love to show you quality...

Lets set your truck next to mine and see who's is bigger...
Come on do it!!

SIZE MATTERS [>:]

There's NO replacement for displacement

VKGT, I think you'll be in for a real eye opener, from pics I've seen of TRD's setups the quality is A+++, I'll bet that truck hauls.

I just love the way you think! I couldn't agree more, even thought mine is only Genesis LE the same still applies.

I was about to post a new question on this exact same subject!

I am very interested in getting this truck - saw it at my LHS and fell in love with the look and size of it... if you all of you can? Could you please give in one word... the best point and the worst of this truck?

I ask this because the CEN after market parts, here in the uk anyway aren't up to scratch... have had many problems previously trying to get parts for my CEN ST2!?

the gst is nice but the genesis le is better and so is the nemesis. the nemesis comes with the mx3 fm radio and for a few bucks more you can get the 3 speed, i think i paid 30.00 for it. my nemesis will beat any truck out there and with the 3 speed its like over drive. i still dont understand why cen does'nt include the mx radio in the gst then it would make it SUPER.

I get all my bits off of the net, mainly Ebay.
I gave up on my local hobby shop, they have to order everything,
and it take twice as long and cost twice as much as getting bits from the US.

I get what I need in a week.

Break it Sunday, get bits next Saturday!

I chose it for size and power, but now that I have it, it is very controllable and is also pretty durable. The only downfall is I wanted to race it, but I need to shave 4 lbs. off it to make it pro series legal...

Nice and warm [8D], starting to turn to autumn (fall), lots of thunder storms, nice time of year, not too hot - 25 to 30C - just right.

Well a Revo will take a GST on a track, Everything else the GST will own a revo. SO that being said, if your not track racing then buy the GST 7.7, you WILL NOT be disappointed! The GSt is faster also, plus it's very durable!

Hi Screamin Chicken,

Read this [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/article_display.cfm?article_id=819]RCU Review - CEN Racing GST 7.7[/link], it should answer your questions.
If you want to read their previous reviews on the other Cen Racing RC's then click [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/index.cfm]here [/link]

Also the search feature will bring up a lot of responses to this question, when you use it. As this topic has been discussed a lot, mid to late last year.
