Guy 4x4,
I suggest both!!! GST for bashing and playing around, The Arena for racing. I have Genesis LE, Nemesis and now a Matrix Arena!! I love my CEN products!!! And their service is top notch!!

I find them both to be easy to work on, but the Arena has a more open architecture, being laid out on an aluminum plate. So for the noob to them both the Arena would be easier

I thought the GST would be hard to work on, but after my first full teardown I found the truck wasn't that bad to work on, and I've been out of nitro for years, untill I got this beast of a truck. if you want to race the GST I hope your local track is bigger than mine, I can't make it around the track to well but I can run over the deviders very easly, even get good air from almost stoped to gunning the engin after i'm right on them.

I just got the GST this week and I am so happy with it. I finished braking it in this morning and this thing is a beast. With it being 17 pounds I thought it would be slow off the line. Man, was I wrong. The GST has sooo much Torque it can get this thing moving it a heart beat. Im glad I bought this truck and the tech support is great. And all the people on the forums can give you help. *Cough TRD Cough Cough*

I've only had my GST for a month now, but man let me tell you. It is the fastest monster truck I've ever seen and I've been playing around with RC's off and on since the original RC10 buggy (yes, the gold anodized chassis version). Having seen nitro trucks over the years I always wanted one, well after years of procrastination and research I found the GST.
It has some much torque it's unreal, from and dead stop you punch it and it literally jumps out of it's skin, I almost want to post a video on youtube just because it's so damn impressive.
I've never seen a Matrix in action, but with the GST's .46 7.7cc motor (the largest surface vehicle nitro motor) atleast for 1/8th scale, how can you go wrong?

If you are just going to be bashing, then the GST is for you. The GST can also race in the Monster truck class, but the Matrix can race in the truggy class and it is made to be more of a racer.

The GST must guzzle having a .46 engine. How long of runtimes does it get and how big is the tank?
