Hawk SE building assembly question
Has anybody had a problem when using the M3x16 socket head screw holding the Bell Mixer arm onto the Main Rotor grip ?
The screw protrudes through to hit the Rotor Head when assembled.
I have fitted the 3x5x0.5 washer and M3x5x3 spacer as per the instructions. My only solution is to take 2mm off the length of the M3x16 screw to give clearance at all Main Blade pitch settings.

RE: Hawk SE building assembly question
Hey Stebbo,
I had the exact same problem with my hawk sport and came up with the same solution you have, i just screwed in the bell mixer screw till i was happy with the feel of the bearings and then got the dremel onto the back of the blade grip and gently removed material from the end of the screw until i was happy it no longer binds against the main yolk.
I'm 20 gallons or so in with my hawk now and it's still just fine
