Default Auto-rotation Bearing on Hawk SE

I'm continuing the build on the Hawk SE and at the stage of assembling the main gear onto the main shaft.

The question I have is does the pre-assembled Auto-rotation bearing in the main gear require any grease / lubrication before I fit it ?

The instructions do not mention lubricating the bearing but it would be easier to do it now than later.

Any suggestions ?

Default RE: Auto-rotation Bearing on Hawk SE

a little lube wont do any harm stebbo, i use tri flow oil from quick uk in all my auto bearings but if you dont have that then a bit of lithium grease or similar will be just fine
