Default Century Scale Muffler

Hi i have a Century Hawk Pro and was thinking of putting it in a Twin star fuselage but do you have to splash you the extra cash for a scale muffler or will it fit with the standard suppled muffler that comes with the Hawk Pro thanks corsur :-)

Default RE: Century Scale Muffler

Hi,
I have a Hawk SE in a Twinstar fuselage with a Century Scale muffler. I tried and tried to find a different muffler / pipe than the Century scale muffler but nothing would fit apart from the Century one. It works fine but it is very, very NOISY !

I've tried putting sound dampening material inside the fuselage which helps. I've been told putting coarse wire wool inside the muffler would reduce the noise but I have not tried that.

If you find an alternative please let me know.

Stebbo.
