Hello

I havn't got there yet ! ..Its been a long project so far . I bought one off dude here on market place and got ripped off .He did not even send the gyro with ! ..I don't know how he can sleep at night.. I'm going to give him the review he'll regret I hope !!! I paid top dollar too .It was packed badly and came in warped and outa sorts ..... I ended up posting all over for parts ,and looking for the belt converion to do at a later time. A fellow on runrider forum site sold a complete one with converion, and a ton of parts for a 100 biscuits !!!!!!
Since then I have been looking and waiting on a good deal on a gyro .

I may get a Gy240 tonight ..

From what I have read ,The the 3d is not for beginners OR at least someone not taking the time to fly OR hover on a sim ..
I have done quite a bit of research and The tail gear is not crash friendly ..And as a beginner YOU WILL dump it from time to time /. I don't want to have to keep buying to many parts ....!!

Iv.e read the belt conversion works well, and will survive most small mishaps ..

Also the tail rudder pitch mechanism Is not very tight ,, I think I saw some aftermarket ones ..The one I bought had been redone and looks tight .

Thanks I'll try to keep posted as I hope to work on It some tomarrow ! Rt
