Sorry to be a pain but being in a French speaking part of the world, the word I believe Chris was looking for is voilĂ*!.

Viola is Shakespearean and what a babe! [8D]

Well actually that term, viola, is slang for the same meaning, like presto, as quoted from a movie I can't remember the title of. Not a memorable movie but the hick pronunciation was funny.

Any how, I was under the impression that this 90 version was an enlarged 60 so thanks for the clarification on that one. I'd still like to see a larger rendition though.

As for kit design and laser cutting this is actually along my line of work so yes it's practically presto for me. I have many resources at my disposal. I just need a set of the Aurora blueprints to work from.

Does anyone have a set they'd like to copy for me? I'll be glad to pay for them.

So viola is American slang for a French word to mean something in Italian? [&:] Sounds like pretty bad writing if it was in a movie. Without an accent when spoken nobody would even get it.

I guess you could make a 6' or 2m version and power it with an F3A type electric motor.

I think you asked for them in two threads and already had them in your own thread before you asked. That's why I was suggesting keeping the discussion focused... if you want this forum to be another resource at your disposal.

I hate how impersonal forums are. When it is just print, it becomes hard to judge intentions.

I noticed a glass Gladiator fuse for sale in the buy&sell section. Would this be worth fixing and re-creating?

Hello Everyone
I hope this is what you wanted to see. I have taken a couple of pictures of the CNC Hot Wire machine I made a few months ago to cut wings, stabs, Turtle decks, etc. There have been a few emails sent to me asking to see my machine. So for what its worth here they are. It cuts up to 56" width and a chord of about 36" and it goes up around 535mm. It runs with computer controlled heat and adjust for the wire kerf. It was a bit of work to fabricate all the parts but it's finished and has been working for a few months now. I cut wings & stabs for all the planes I sell and also do custom work for a few request. I don't know what I ever did without it. I love foam core wings more than the ribs by far. Much lighter and stronger. It's also fantastic for cutting turtle decks.

Wow, I love your house, I mean hobby shop I wonder if I could turn my living room into a work shop (seems like the wood working tools are messing up my shop way too much. I was building a 1/3 scale cowl this weekend and it's a mess).
What program are you using to cut your wings? Maybe we can pull this off to a different thread because you seem to be one step ahead of me on that and I'm not sure which program to use. I thought about Compufoil and Mach3. I have a foam cutter from a friend and everything else I need.
Looks like your vacuum pump was from Veneeringsupplies.com?! They sell a nice Gast pump but it I can't degass with it.

Thanks, Tim

My shop is in my 2000 sq ft basement. I have a good ventilation system a vac system for the dust and its not a problem.

I also have another shop in town that is a few thousand sq. ft. the has all my mills, lathes, welding equipment, spray booth, Vac U Form machine, etc. etc.

I like have the main RC works in my home because I can work at any hour of the day or night.

My foam cutter software is Giles GMFC PRO.

I have Comp U Foil also but it is not to run a foam cutter.

The Vac Pump I made from those plans a kit at veneersupply.

Thanks for the print. I'll have to decide when the right time is to get a "kit" from you as right now Im so busy it would just sit around. Thanks for keeping this plane alive too.

It looks like I'll be adding the "Atlas" & the "Deception" to the line up, thanks to Chris and & Jeff for the help. I may also be getting a "Tipo" to do also.

Has any body seen or have a "Skymaster" or a Glass "Tiporare 825" the RE version that I could reproduce?

Nice David, What's in it? did you use Spring Air Retracts?

I am really looking for an unbuilt kit or at least the fuselage to make a mold. My friend, Chris has one that's built also and said I could use it after he flies it. But it would be best to find one that has not been built yet.

Don, It has a Rossi re with a pipe partially submerged on the other side. I think the retracts are mechanical. It is a plane I acquired but still remains unflown (by me).

Newly acquired, an Atlanta 60 . Very clean , great quality, so far set in the parting board getting ready for the gel coat. It won't be long now to have them available cores included.
