Default CPA/ BPA contest 2011

Well here is the first one so far....

Dave Phillips has announced a CPA/BPA contest at the Morris Field near B'ham. on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2011...... I also have been told this is a nice paved runway !

"Come one and all gona be a shoot out !!"

When the flyer is ready we will post here and on the CPA site and forum site....

Look for the CPA booth at the Perry GA. show in March 2011.

The only electrics I use is my starter, but that's just me !! If you are gona drive from Houston Tx. just to fly in a classic pattern contest and all you have is an Electric airplane, you can FLY.
But ya have to put a tuned pipe on it !!!! HaHaHa......

Crashlander, It's not as far as you drove when you went to the Chattnooga contest !!! Hey Lil Dave and I flew in your contest last year its your turn for us to show you a good time..
Bring that Blue and white Arrow and lets fly some ole time pattern.
Lil David has a red /wht/black Arrow with a FIRE Rossi and spring air RT and you two could make some sweet music..

I am planning on it. I have a new Bridi Escape with a YS 60 RE, retracts and tuned pipe I'd like to try out.
\I just googled the trip and doesn't look bad at all.
Making plans to go I'll see if I can get Crankpin to go along also.

I lost the Arrow when doing a spin. Elevator link came off the servo arm. I used a helicopter gadget that should not have come off, but it did. Lost engine, receiver, plane-totaled.

Bummer, I loved the airplane-it hurt when it went in.

Look's like I've been drafted. Have to give my employer some notice, (my daughter). The #1 P-6 just need's a pull-pull on rudder, 61SF mounted, RTF. P-6 #2, waiting for paint, same power set-up. I have been trying AMA pattern. Been to a few contest's, another Focus waiting on paint, MIke Plummer gave me his after I put #1 Focus in the ground, all using YS power. Here is my problem, "Flying in the darn box". Don't do too bad, till the 1/2 Cuban 8, pull up make sure it is 45, and in the box, I hesitate for a second, then the plane is out of sight. Staying out and flying the straight line's, I just need to fly more.
