Default Wow! Talk about great service!

I know that Fox is not popular with the pattern crowd. With the quality going up and down through the yearsand the unusual adjustments required on early Fox carbs, its no wonder. But apparently they are very good right now. I never had a bad one so I like them. If you had one of the Fox Eagle engines with an overcompressed head button, they will now apparently replace the button for free.

Also they have a new twin needle carb that people seem to like very much. No clicker but a teflon seal with a friction fit that prevents the needle from turning. Click on the photo and see a very large picture of the carb.

Having an American made quality engine available would be an awesome thing.

Well Jett is at the top but very expensive.  Mecoa is sporadic.  Fox will sell you any engine half price for trade in of any used or junk engine.  You could trade in a junk Cox .049 plastic back reed engine for a Fox .74.

Wish they would build a four stroke.

The RJL is a great running engine. I can see a Dirty Birdy with one in the nose in my near future.

My dad and I flew several Fox engines back in the '70s on sport models, with great success. As a budding pattern pilot, I wanted to use what the big guns were using; so never flew a Fox competitively.
