Boxer 60
A friend of mine just finished building a Boxer 60. Came out looking great. Only thing he had to put in it was an O.S. 91FX . Came out weighing in at 8lbs. 1 oz. (that includes the 2 oz. of lead in the tail). Maiden is this weekend. I gotta say it came out really well and has the classic pattern plane lines. Ought to fly like it is on rails. Best part of the plane is that is completely made of balsa. I am fortunate enough to have plans for all the Boxer planes 45,60,90,120. After seeing this one I might just hit the building board and crank out an electric Boxer 120.

RE: Boxer 60
Good looking plane Pedro!
I would be interested in seeing the various scales of the plans. We recently had an exchange on RCG about a 60 size airplane that looked very much like a Hammer but turned out the be a Boxer.
I liked the plane as a platform for testing a RE piped setup for a 25 sized engine, that I have been working on the CAD plans of Sarpolus' Hammer (the original 25 size).
David.

Very nice plane. I believe that the Boxer would still be competive in the lower classes and it would be nice if the plans were still available. It is my understanding that the designer passed away a little while ago. I like to build and it would be fun to build a 120 sized one for competition in the lower classes.

I had the Boxer 90 with an OS 91 four stroke in it. It was built by Gus Ozol the designer. I understand the Boxer series is a simplified version of the Meridian designed (glass and foam) by Henry Piorun. Also Rick Allison has a design that share the same moments.
