RE: TOC Laser
I finally got everything beveled and hinged. All that is left at this point is the aileron hard points for control horns, aileron servo mounts and wing mounts/anti-rotation plates. All this will be done this week as the one that is being sold will be taken to my club's flea market on Saturday. The one I'm keeping needs to be flying by late June. I had to weigh them several time and even weighed myself. Still not sure I 100% beleive the weight but the scale was accurate on my body weight.

Just about to start coving the airframe I am keeping, The other has been listed for sale here on RCU. Anyone have some servo suggestions? I'm looking for a solid 300oz, .10 speed, metal gears and above all fantastic centering. Lets here what you guys are using.

I just listed the second airframe at a lower price. my wedding is at the end of the month and I want to take my bride on a nice trip. I have lots of pictures I can send direct email. If it makes the decision easier, I can throw in a low time DLE 55 for an additional 300.00

RE: TOC Laser
Work has been really slow. Now that the wedding is over I can get back to work. At this point I'm a week into the covering and paint. The base white is Ultracote and the colors are Monokote Met. Red and met. Blue. The Monokote is applied via the Windex method and ironed into place 12 hours later. The paint is auto primer with a base of Pactra lexan paint and colors are Dupli-color. The clear will be an auto clear that is available in a spray can. It has a valve on the bottom of the can that introduces the paint hardener. It has to be sprayed within 24 hrs at that point.

More work is happening. My club has it's annual airshow next weekend and I am trying to have it on display. I think the lettering I have to do before the clear will hold it up though. I have a CL buddy that does great panel ines so I am considering having him do some detail work on the cowl and canopy.
