Push rods
What type push-rods are most of you using now-a-days? I always used the cable in a tube for elevators and rudder but was wondering if there is something better now. Seems to me the cable in a tube might be a little heavier than other methods.

RE: Push rods
Ralph,
I have always had good luck with the push rod systems like the Dave Brown ones. You can see it here: https://www.dbproducts.com/index2.htm There are others out there that have carbon fiber tubes instead of fiberglass tubes........ It is just a matter of preference.

I just tried the Dave Brown pushrods for my Tiger Tail. As for whatimpactiq said,I had good luck puttingthem togetherand they seem quite strong. Iused a forked elevator pushrod and one of the end plugs is already drilled for that. I believe it's going to work out well. The LHS had the package of two rods and the price was very fair.
