DAAaammmmnn!
I've seen this happen before where Bridi Kits that can still be bought new from Blue Jay for $120 then go for $250.An Ebaybidding war erupts and it thenturns into an ego battle of I have more money than you until someone finally caves.
This particular one is anEbay sellers dream come true.

Bryan, Yup. These guys really wanted this. The second bidder was probably thinking he had it with a 2000 bid... wrong.
Would have been really interesting if this auction would set another 5 min. after each highest bid at the end. You know, bid at last second, become the highest bidder, and the auction end time changes to add 5 more min. so others can think about it. No telling where this would have ended.

There are still pilots who prefer single stick equipment even though it has vanished from current production (as far as I know). This was NIB Futaba equipment which can be updated to current technology (Fasst). Still, for that kind of money I'd learn to fly 2 sticks... fortunately, I already do!

#1 Nope, I know the seller and he not that way. No, it is not me either
#2 Most of these high price auctions sell to out of country buyers who are collectors. The buyer of that $2000+ one is from Switzerland.
#3 One sold not to long ago in the same condition for around $600.00 but then the seller didn't ship out of the USA.
#4 IT is only worth what someone is willing to pay. It just happens to be ALOT right now.
