One word..., appalling!

Someone please take them out of their misery and get this historic collection back on track. I know, they need to be willing to sell...

David....I totally agree.
I just wonder how in the world people like this managed to obtain this collection....yeah, I know....they paid for it...but I'll bet if RCM had checked them out further it would have been sold to some responsible company or individual.
it's a cryin' shame for sure.

I've purchased 4 sets of plans as recently as 2012 from RCM Plans and have never had a problem. It took 6-8 weeks and a couple of times I had to call to check on progress but the plans showed up. I hope RCM Plans can get things under control and we don't lose the historical wealth of the decades of plans even more important as ARF's dominate our hobby.

JR,

please do!

I used to live in Corvallis. If I was still there, I'd knock myself.

Gold Beach.....It is problematic for me to get to them.....I suspect the relative isolation from the I5 corridor has protected them.

Oh right, well I was pretty close. Too bad we were not thinking a few months ago, Dad was making trips to Gold Beach every so often for awhile, but not now. Could have considered a ride along.
Maybe there is an event somewhere near Gold Beach coming up soon to go down there for.. Im sure Medford at least does, not that far of a run from there.
I'll see what comes up

The answer is "Outerzone"

Scan your RCM Plan and Article and If they don't have it upload it

At the rate they are being uploaded there will be no point in bothering with them even if they do start shipping again.

I have also Purchaced for very little $$$ a Hp 36 inch plotter model 755cm this was the last low cost ink plotter they made
it will print with just a black ink installed.

If any one in South Australia needs a plan Please PM Me I will print it for next to nothing.

I would be satisfied with those 8.5"x11" plans that were included with every article.

Trisquire,

Setup an Ebay search for RCM's Ilustrated Plans Guide and the Ilustrated plans Guides Suppliments

These two volumns contain miniature versions of All RCMplans published from Oct 1963 to June 1991.

I have both and can get workable plans from most of the illustrations. Desktop publishing and scanners started to become mainstream during the 1990's so that's probably why RCM stopped adding the supplements, and making a third supplement volumn when there were enough plans to do so.

gazine from July 1991 on for the anything else or wait for the plan on the RCM free thread.
