MK Cosmos build
Feeling the urge to build, I have decided to start a Mk Cosmos. Although I have the kit, I will only use it for copying. In addition to cutting a lot of wood today, I also made a trip to Kinko's and copied the plans as well as saved them to a pdf format. Coincidently I have received 3 requests recently for a copy of the Cosmos plans. I will post a pdf here for those interested.
Here are a couple of the box photos. Of course hoping the recent problems with RCU have been resolved.

A view of the rubber bands around various packets of cut wood. Long ago dissolved into goo. As usual the wood quality and cutting is most excellent. I will be copying each and every piece and returning the kit to original conditions as best I can.

Thanks Bryan. I'm using a scroll saw. I have a couple of sanders and a drill press helping out as well. I need to post a photo of my Byrnes sander, a true work of art. I will try to upload the pdf before I head back to more cutting.

David,
Thanks for sharing the plan.
I have a Mk Magic 20 kit NIB and I agree about the multitude of parts included in their kits.
That's a whole lotta pieces to remanufacture.

Chuck, good to hear from you. We need to get together and fly this spring.

I tore the gear out of my 2M Black Magic pattern plane which is a bummer but it's an easy fix...I've been flying my Osmose 70 for practice instead...
I'm hoping to fly some contests this year!! AMA, SPA or BPA, any of them would be fun!!
I'd love to get together and fly or just "talk shop"!!
Have Fun with your build...Again it's looking Great!!

What are you going to do about the canopy?

Don (Frequent Flyer) of course. I will be his 1st customer as I have no intentions of using the original canopy or belly pan on this build. I would expect those 2 items to head his way shortly.

Me too!
I've copied two MK kits that way: the first, the Skymaster, I took photos as I removed contents. The second time I did the Magic and got too cocky and had the glass top deck cover left over - oops. Of course I was pretty obsessive about the Skymaster and put all the individual die cut pieces back in their original wood frames.
Good luck David!
