Default Engine Reviews

If you like engines and like reading engine reviews or like to know about an older engine you may have, click on the link to the glow engines forum
go to post # 4, click on the link, click "back to index" at the bottom of the review. If you like this kind of stuff, you might have a "OMG" moment.
This is the first time I've seen this much date in one location. So make sure you thank Coriolan for posting the link to all those engine reviews. Enjoy.

Default RE: Engine Reviews

Thanks Ron!
I have many of those reviews in my rather extensive magazine collection. It is MUCH to finad and read the reviews online. My dad recently passed away and he was a modeler who had an interesting collection of engines which include a NIB Ross twin which still has the original $125 price tag on it. He also had a techno power radial and a couple of OS wankels. We ran the radial - very cool and flew one of the Wankels which were amazingly smooth and quiet.

I think my last sentence is word incorrectly and maybe misleading, so it has been edited. Coriolan is the guy we should be thanking.

I miss the style of those old engine reviews, was one of the many (if not the main) reason for buying all those old model magazines.
Oh yeah, did anyone happen to make it over to the RC Groups 471 page vintage glow engines section via the Scepter Flight page.
I didn't know about that section but I/you can spend a lot of time over there also.
