I'm looking forward to this event, leaving Central FL after work on Friday afternoon, room at the Hampton.
Question: Do I need to bring a tent, or is there a covered pit area for shade? First time to an event at Mac's place...

Any of you Novice guys that would like a chance at some very good hardware this is the time to try your hand at pattern flying. We have 5 plaques to give away and the winner gets a 100.00 gift certificate from Nova Rossi !

Just got home, unpacked and cleaned up and opened a cold beer!
Thanks to all for a great event, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The first flight in front of judges with the Bootlegger, flying the pattern I last flew at the '81 Masters, was worth the drive and price of admission. The fellowship with old friends and the meeting of new ones, coupled with the perfect flying site and perfect weather... well, it just doesn't get any better than that!
I'm a certified CPA member now, you'll be seeing more of me...
Thanks again to all.
Cheers!

Cliff,
Just got back in from a dip in the pool and having a cool brew as well. It was great seeing you again and flying with you. Your Bootlegger is beautiful and the sound is awesome! Good luck with your trip to Poland!

Just got home to NC, myself. What a cool event. I haven't had that much fun at a contest in a very long time. It was such a treat to see some of these classic airplanes back in the air and making that sweet music that can only come from a piped two stroke turning about 16,000. My Arrow made it home in one piece and now I will be playing with some different props to try and slow down the horizontal speed just a bit without loosing any vertical performance.
I can't wait to see everyone again and thanks to everyone that put on the event.

Hey Guy's
I was totally amazed at the level of flying we saw at this contest ! It was a real thrill for me just to watch (after the finger in the prop and six stitches)[:@]
I don't think any one knew who was going to win as the flying was that close ! I feel like every one won first place and really felt bad to have to say you finished second . This contest reminded me so much of the old Pattern wars of long ago. Every one did a great job But the Masters put on a show ! We had people stop what they were doing to watch some really great flying !! I for one can not wait to see these guys again as we made some very good NEW friends and Got to see some Old friends. I will do a report on the contest after I get all of my info un packed and will have some Pictures as well
Again GREAT JOB TO ALL
