Miss Norway
Im trying to find a canopy for a Miss Norway. This is a pattern plane from RCM plans that I have wanted to build for years and finally have time to do it. Does anyone have a canopy or know where I can get one?

Here You can buy a Miss Norway canopy:

Miss Norway 8" long 2 1/4" wide 2" Tall
This vintage canopy fits the old Miss Norway, it is formed with .030 PETG clear plastic.

From what I remember the canopy on the Miss Norway was quite large. Then again it was 1981 when I owned one LOL. I got mine second hand from my dad who had painted it with K-mart Lacquer paints over silkspan and dope. I ended up making a new canopy out of a couple 1/2" balsa sheets and then recovered the whole airplane in Monokote. It flew much better at 7.5 lbs and a brand new Webra speed .61.

Miss Norway Mk IV in original color below, I would think 1977-1978 or so. Probably a Rossi 60 or 61 with pipe (at least the pipe seems to be a Rossi pipe). Such original green canopy would be nice. The plane in the picture is Ernst Totland's plane (LN-172 was his Norwegian registration number). Seems he used a Bartels glasfibre prop also.

The Mk IV appears to have a higher engine wing and Horizontal stabilizer than the Mk II. Can anyone share info on the design changes? I too would like to see a Mk IV or newer plan.

Im trying to set up my comp u carve cnc router to cut most parts and wing ribs, also I will cut foam cores for some who prefer foam. Family time and work are dictating shop time at the moment. I will update again this weekend to show progress. Rob
