Hey all,
Just a reminder for you classic pattern nuts here on the West Coast- the 4th annual Classic Pattern Get-Together is fast approaching. It will be held on Saturday, June 7th at the Riverside Radio Control Club (Perris) airfield.

JR,

We will be flying Classic in D8 regular contest at the discretion of the CD's. We will fly Classic at Molalla and Woodburn for sure and probably Albany.

Thanks, I was kinda being sarcastic being they called it West Coast.. and should probably be called South West.

I saw West Coast, got excited to see the schedule and was like.. Utah, Nevada, Arizona? I know, its petty.. didnt think it would be taken so serious.
Have been thinking about getting into the Classic pattern again myself, too.

Thats great, I miss the classic pattern. I started getting back into Pattern a couple years ago, but got side tracked with the dang Giant scale stuff.. well, I think I have fulfilled that side of flying for awhile, now its time to get back to the real stuff again!

Sadly, I only have a Kaos of some sort on the table I am rebuilding, but its good enough to have some fun with. Just not certain what real bird I want to seek out to build yet. My Zeus is probably iffy on qualifying for classic, although it was designed right at the turn to turnaround. I doubt anyone would fuss over it.

Sorry for the hijack Robert!

JR,

If it looks old, bring it out. We aren't going to be picky.

Well its classic for sure! John Nozlar and Jeff Carter designed early 90's.. You might know of it..
I did a build thread few years ago;
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/clas...120-build.html

Gary McClellan had mentioned that he wouldnt have a problem allowing it.. its within the erra.. just barely

Hey- I am glad to see the interest taking hold in the NW. Yes, you are correct, West Coast should be divided into NW & SW, the exact definitions of the CPA regions is something that is being worked out.

Please let em know if I may be of any assistance to you guys.

BTW there may be some CPA activity starting up in Arizona next year. Stay tuned!
