Italian made Super Tigre .60 Rear Exhaust 1970s-1980s
There is one of these new in box on ebay right now and I am wondering if it would be wiser to keep it as a collectable or use it. If I do put this into a classic pattern bird, is there anyone still out there that might have misc parts for it if I ever wanted them?

Not that I know of. Actually there is a fellow on eBay (robair - up here in Montreal actually) who sells parts but how much he may have for a ST X60 I don't know. If the engine is yours and new, it might be worth keeping safe for another 10 years unless you are happy with the using it and retiring it when it might need a part.
On the other hand, there are two great current production rear exhaust engines on the market for which you can get parts: the NovaRossi R61F Speed/13 and the YS 61R Classic. Both absolute monster engines with gobs of power.
Hope this helps,
David
