Any interest in this rare bird build?
I'm thinking about starting this rare pattern plane.
Its summer and usually I do this stuff in the winter.
I have not done a build thread on here for years.
Due to the nature of the design it could take awhile.
Any interest?
Any thoughts?

Sure, there's always interest in a classic build - especially of a model with dual fins!
I would take it to the RCG classic forum if you want better success with viewer traffic.
Build on!

Yes, unfortunately this site has gone down hill. As Doxilia mentioned, RCGroups is where everyone in this forum has migrated to. Come on over and start a thread. I will follow along for sure,

The Vixen was published in the Flying Models 11/72 issue. Jack Sheeks was a C/L stunt guy who migrated over to R/C. He also published a C/L version some years earlier in the same magazine.

After 37 years of building and flying I shut it all down.
I sold my flying field 2 months ago and my last engine is ready to ship.
My built planes are hanging in the hobby shop except 1
You can follow where the Vixens went by looking at my feedback ratings.
I had 2 and sold them both on rcu.
Very very very nice kit and super rare!

Thank you kind sir!
Every true dyed in the wool RC pilot should have the opportunity to own and maintain his own flying field.
That is .........the way it should be.
I no longer desire building like I once did, having over 800 builds under my belt.
I am currently building one last plane........an 84" Italian job just for fun and giggles.
I did not fly this year yet but may go out and show up at a friends house with a muscular top wing I kept.
He bought an airport and has invited me to fly.
I appreciate the kind words!
