Yoshioka Flash S kit plan
Hi, I'm not too sure if I'm In the right forum. Would anyone have a copy of the Yoshioka Flash S (51.5"span) kit plan please?
I have a kit, but it has no plan. Thanks
I will gladly pay for any copying / postage costs.
Regards Mike.

My Feedback: (121)
Hi Mike,
I must apologize. I built the Flash (which is the 45 sized version) and not the Flash S which is the smallest version. I've also built 3 Flash RS (.60) size. If you cannot locate plans for the Flash S, I would be happy to send you scanned plans from the slightly larger Flash. Not ideal, but very helpful when building. You could build the kit without plans (easy for me to say, having built several) just using the interlocking feature of the design. It is nice to know where some of the odd bits go! And plans sure help.
regards,
Will

I'm still looking for a copy, (either paper or scanned pdf) for the Yoshioka Flash S kit plan.
If anyone is able to help, please let me know.
I'm willing to pay a generous finders fee for the plan.

Pics of Flash used for local novice pattern entry - some might say: well, whup-dee-do - and another of the airplane in it's present state prior to planned resurrection with custom aluminum gear and perhaps dual, dedicated aileron servos...
Likewise - not the Flash S but the Flash (45-sized) built over 20 years ago. The plans are folded, not rolled, so they show significant wear after repeated folding/unfolding. All printed instructions are on the plans and in Japanese so unless you can read the language, build process is derived from studying the drawings on the plans and the interlocking feature as stated by flywilly.
Hoping these pics may help.

Hi H5606, thanks very much for your help with the pictures of your Flash plan. The pictures are of great help.
Your right David, it's great how we can help each other out. It's what makes this a great hobby it is.

After some deliberation, decided more info may be beneficial: perhaps using 57" wingspan (28.5" each side) and the 14mm shown here can give some idea of appropriate dihedral angle... Including other info that may be of importance. Really happy to hear it helps; please don't hesitate to ask for other close-up detail shots.
Always felt that the landing gear (undercarriage) was too far forward making the model unstable during take-offs (wanting to ground-loop); eventually raked wire gear aft and fabricated the aluminum landing gear pictured in the second pic of my previous post with considerable rake aft to bring it back where it was thought the main wheels should be to try to alleviate this problem (wheels just under L.E. when viewed from above).
One side note about Yoshioka kits - they were so well engineered and packed that it seemed if you took a few too many pieces out of the kit box to examine, you would never get them back in the same orientation to be able to close the box lid entirely again...
