Thanks, Ron.
Really nice looking airplane! Do you still have it?
The Aurora paint scheme really messed with my questionable memory :-)
Too bad there weren't more participants here... RCG is very '.60' oriented which is a bit of a shame as there are a lot of great looking and flying airplanes from the post ballistic era (up until about 2005). I like 'em all, but can't afford too many of the new ones!
By the way, that was very interesting information about the old Rossi needles being too short. I ran OS and YS engines; so never had the 'pleasure' of dealing with a short needle. I have always been impressed with Rossi engines, especially the old ones from the ballistic days. Powerful and indestructible. They were pretty popular in the northeast where I lived until '89. Chip flew them in his Dalotel in the early turnaround days with great success, no pump either if I remember.
I'm ready for the next mystery airplane! :-)

No, I flew it hard for a few years and then sold it thru a third party. I don't know where it is today.
Those early days of turnaround were great fun and anything could happen in the design arena. I always liked Bill Cunningham's planes and when I saw the Malibu I just had to have one.
