I didn't know it was a fully moulded plane[X(]
I gotta have one!
Your comming out here first Daggets!!
Who else wants one. If we did a single shipment into the country, we would save some $$
I would have to wait until mid January. I can't even afford to think after paying for shipping from Tx to Hi [:@]

Hey guys, I'll be in Germany for the holidays (19 Dec - 14 Jan). I can
try to make contact with Sunshine (maybe go by the place) to see
what's what and get info, if anyone would like me to. Just let me.

Anyone an idea what shipment between South and North America would cost ?
If that price is acceptable, I could bring along a truckload of Curare's, etc....
Will be there in January, February, with a 40 foot container...

there is two version... one with a foam wing and tail, available at their office, and the fully molded version you have seen... for the fully molded version, there is some delay...

the molding job is one of the best i have seen, it is lighter than my all wooden curare, and need no paint before applying the scheme... looks like it s made by gliders builders..

I've got an answer from the Germans.

Dear Mr. Martenson,

thanks for your opinion, we will see what we can do about the web site but at the moment there is also the possibility to read the dircription in english. The big problem for our company to send products to USA are the high transport costs but naturally you can order products from our internetsite. There is also no problem to order the products in english because we understand engish. So if you are interested in the Curare or other products don´t be shy write an e-mail or please order via internet shop. We will then send the products.

If you have any further questions please contact us.

Sincerally

Sunshine

This is great news, just send them an email if you want to order from them.

Good luck

I go over there quite frequently, what part of Germany is this company? Do they sell from a storefront or warehouse of some type? If it's not to far from where we fly into, I'd love to pick one up.

My mounted fuse don't even fit in a 120 cm box.....
Due to the weight of the fuse ( it's remarkable light ) , I guess it's prolly the same, but if I look into the dimensions, it's bigger (longer)then the normal size a Curare 60 should have....
Unfortunately, I don't know who build it..

For Those In The States

Just got off the phone with Sunshine. Per the person my wife talked to, they
have all kits in stock. Here's what I'm willing to do for a few of you guys, I
can order and have delivered to my place in germany which ever kit you
want then mail the kit to you parcel post via the USPS. You would have to
pay the price of the kit, the germen postage to get it my house, the USPS
postage. The germen postage to my place is $10-$12. The postage to the
states maybe $20-$30. There's no really need to send priority mail as it takes
about the same time as parcel post coming from a APO. I think it would take
about 3 days to receive a kit here and 10 day or so for it to make it to you
in the states. So you are looking at about 20 days or so from the time the
order is placed before you receive the kit. I think I can mail out about 4
(maybe 6) kits before the guys at the APO start to ask questions. You can't
use the APO/FPO post office to conduct a business and they might think I'm
doing so sending out all those kits all over the states.

Payment can be made to my PayPal account or USPS money order. Those
that pay with paypal will get their kit within the 20 day window. Those that send
money orders will have to wait until I return from vacation (15 Jan) before their
kit is shipped.

All of the above is for the glass/foam/balsa version. The all glass version is to big
to go USPS due to the wing.

For those who want one PM me here or send to [email protected]

Hi I bought a Curare from the sunshine shop in Germany just before Christmas, only just got around to start building it.
Kit I bought was glass fuse foam wings.

Fuse is quite flexible, will it need any extra glass to stiffen it up?
