They offer a kit of the Phoenix VIII with an epoxy glass fuselage and sheeted foam core wings for less than $300.00. I've been thinking about getting one myself, but life keeps getting in the way.

Will do. had a guy PM me about a kit he already has. If it's the Aztec kit, I'll probably get it. The Aztec seems like the way to go...
