I have been reading this thread with interest.......I am finishing up an Escape that a friend had framed up long ago and gave to me. I will incorporate Bill's mods, at least most of them.

My kit plans show the two degrees of down thrust but show no right thrust. Is this correct? I thought every pattern plane in the world has at least a little right thrust.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,

down and right thrust are basically "trimming condition" adjustments. Some designs don't specifically mention right thrust (or down) but it doesn't mean that they couldn't use it. Basically I think you're going to have to find out in flight unless others who have built and flown one can point you to what angles they used and why. I hope this helps.

Do post some photos of your progress!

Phil,

email sent.

David.
