Default typhoon pattern plane

anyone here know when this was introduced? this was scratch built from plans bought when the old rc modeler magazine was still printed years ago balsa and plywood construction covered with glass and epoxy, has the channel through belly of plane for tuned pipe and spring air retracts, very well built and just needs to be finished by painting, currently in primer now. hyde soft mount with a ys 61 rear exhaust. tried to look up old magazine articles or whatever to get more info on it

The drawing date on my MV-1 Typhoon plan, obtained direct from Ron Chidgey, is 20th October 1988.
