RE: Kraft Retract's Info
I think Kraft was ahead of it's time with these! I never actually got to use a set but I've always been intrigued by them and wondered why only a few other companies followed suit with electric retracts. Looks like E-Flite will have a new set out soon for the larger models.

Did you check out their weight? Does nearly a pound(13-14 oz.) just for the retract mechanism seem heavy? Never weighed my Spring Airs so I don't know. Just seems a bit much.

RE: Kraft Retract's Info
Those things were bulletproof, they were heavy and slow but you couldn't kill em.
I was on an unbelievably tight budget in the 70's and I reckon I had one set of retracts in 3 or 4 different pattern ships over about 3 years with a few crashes and they were still working when I retired for 32 years in 1975.
Can you make em work with a modern JR radio Crankpin?
Cheers

Greg - Yes. I am not the electronic's expert, there is info on here, something about the amplifier, making some change's, etc. I will look it up, get it to you sometime this weekend. Try these guy's, they may be able to help, I will still check out old post's on these.
