So Cal Club 40 race March 5
Hi Guys,
Our first Club 40 race of the season will be held at the Gilman Springs RC Flyers field on March 5th. Open to all AMA pilots. Come and join the fun.

Well the day was a great success. We had 15 pilots enter. We flew 3 rounds with 4 heats in each and then a Trophy round. Only lost two planes during the day. I saw a variety of engines being used. A big surprise for me was how well the Evolution 40's did. They were right there with the Pro 40's all day long. The trophy race had two Pro 40's and two Evo 40's.
As usual, the sportsmanship was stellar and a good time was had by all.
The trophy race finished as follows.
Barry Young - 1st place
Glen Wolsky - 2nd place
Terry Yates - 3rd place
Doug Medore - 4th place

What a great size group for a first race or any race.
