Default Throw Down in T-Town 2014

Okay guys! August 9th is the T-Town Pylon Race! Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year! As usual we will be set up for practice on Friday the 8th. Camping is allowed, no hook ups, but water and bathrooms are on site. We now have lights under the pavilions. This is the week after UA graduation so reservations for rooms should be no problems! Start them engines!
Thanks
Ed

My maiden flight on my EF-1 Proud Bird went really well right up until I went to full throttle then that’s when the high performance double top secrete ESC burst into flames! And boy they burn fast!!!

Last year was so much fun to race you guys so it looks like the Hoosiers will be down to see all bout that racing in T-Town in August.
If we don't wack too many planes we expect to have three pilots and a bunch of really fast LA Racers
to lead the way.

Hi Ed,
In your flyer it says to be pre registered before Jun, 30 for the dinner on Friday night! Is this correct? Is this for a better understanding of a head count? Bob Petrinec and I are coming and we are trying to bring more from the Texas group!

Hi Gary,
If you pre-register and pay before Jun 30th, your dinner is free! If you register and pay after Jun 30th and you want to have dinner, your dinner will be $10.00, which is also the price for non pilots.
This is to encourage everyone to pre-register and a freebee for doing so. Plus it does give us a more accurate head count on how many to expect. According to our last couple feasts we have had, you will NOT go away hungry! We do know how to Throw-Down when it comes to eats!
Hope this answers your questions!

Ed, I won't be able to attend the race this year but if you get an accurate head count I could go ahead and run and print the race matrix for you. Let me know if that will help you guys out.

Guys, I finally found the missing business card from the hotel that Ernie and I have been staying at for the race.

Econolodge
1930 McFarland Blvd.
Northport, AL 35476
phone 205-330-0345

Chris Johnson is the general manager and quoted me a price of $60.95 plus tax last year.
The Econolodge is real close to the flying site. The rooms are clean and several nearby restaurants.

Hello everyone,
The race is just over a month away. I have not received any pre-registrations or commitments. If you are planning on attending please post and let us know so we can get a pretty accurate head count. This will help us get the ball rolling so we can roll out the red carpet when you get here. Also if you plan on registering before June 30th you need to get your name in the hat as your dinner will be free on Friday night if you register and pre-pay. Looking forward to seeing everyone so let us know if you are planning on attending.
Thanks
Ed

The Swope's will be in full effect! Half the A-main is now accounted for. Who's coming in 3rd and 4th?

I'm trying to say I'll be there too.

How do we register and pay?
