Default LA Racer Landing Gear

Just orderd an LA Racer. I am going to replace the wire gear with Dural gear. Could some please measure the cross section of the fuselage at the gear mount and approximate height of the wire gear from fuselage mount to axle.

Thanks!

has anyone replace their gear and if so what did you use? Also I will be adding a plywood plate into the gear coompartment along with bracing Will I need to cut in to the fuselage or is there access?

Granted you are in Washington state, but another thing to keep in mind is if you try Club 40 racing and if they follow RCPro rules, I believe that type of modification is not allowed. At least it is not in Texas.
