WARNING!
There is going to be a club 40 , Q-25, and 424 race at the Firetower Flyers field in Piedmont SC on March 28th.
Close spaces, tight turns, wings possibly bumping, and that will be in the pits from putting their planes together.
The real fun will come when the racing starts. Club 40 and Q-25 on 2 pole. 424 on 3 pole.
The warning is for people that don't pre-register. I need to know your name, frequency, class you will be racing in and your caller.
You will be permitted to race in all 3 classes.
Go to www.firetowerflyers.com for directions and the race flyer.
Power master 15% fuel will be used.

I will post on RCU how many has registered per class.

The weather predictions are notoriously wrong during this time of the year around here. Just yesterday they were saying 80% chance of rain on Saturday. Today it is 40%.
Best thing to do is plan to race on Saturday.
Now if the satellite looks real bad on Friday afternoon and the prediction is bad, maybe think about calling it.

The way the weather is looking now is that all of us are going to be staying at home. Constant 70% chance of rain though Saturday. Even if it stops raining Saturday the field will probably be soaked.
As much as I wanted this race to happen, the weather looks real bad at the moment. James can't get a break with the weather. [
