I've been off of RCU for 2 months. I went to the Navy Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. I stay in the Great Lakes for a bit long at the Great Lakes Naval Station. After I take some leave to see my family( and my club). I fly to San Diego. I have found out that since I've been gone, RealFight came out with G5.5. Can't wait to see SD and maybe get to fly at a club. Anything else I've missed. It feels like I've missed a lot in 2 months. It feels good to be back on RCU.

Your going to love SoCal. I grew up in the north county. There are some great places to fly, you just have to ask at the LHS' to find them. When your not flying there is a million and one things to do.

A word of advice from an " OLD SALT ". If you want to know something or want to do something ~~ ASK !!!! all they can say is No and if you ask twice they may say yes. Been there done that . SD area is a nice place. ENJOY !!! RED ``

I was wondering how you were doing. I hope you didn't give away all your gear before you went off to boot like you thought you might do. Anyway, congratulations on your achievement , and rest easy that the rest of your military service won't be like boot. And ... Welcome Home !!!!

I'm going to a ship. I guess that means Sea Duty for me. I didn't get rid of my gear, its all packed up. I should have more access to a computer to see whats goin on in RCU.

Same here - went to Boot in GL and my final duty was in SD. I was stationed at a now closed Heli base in Venerial, I mean Imperial Beach. We were south of SD. In fact you could see the Bull Fighting ring In Tijuana from our flight line!
