How much amperage do you need? I use an old computer power supply rated at 15 amps. Works just fine for my charger. Computer desktop power supplies are cheap and are well filtered. They have taps for +and - 12 volts.

I use 1 of these.

If you get into larger planed and need air, you're ready to go. Plus it's nice to have in the car too.

A laptop power supply/charger will work.
Watch your voltage. If your charger is a
12 volt you don't want to go over 15 volts
on the power supply. Some of the supplies
go to 18 volts or more.
I am using the supply for a small flat screen monitor.
Good Luck,
