Wow, this is a shock, another dissatisfied Hobby King customer. The RC forums are littered with unhappy Hobby King customers, yet people keep ordering from them instead of buying from a
US distributor or their local hobby shop.

There are two hamburger joints across the street from each other. Let's call them "A" and "B"

Each has a quarter-pound burger on a bun with lettuce and tomato.

"A" has a pickle slice, "B" does not.

"A" gives you your burger wrapped in paper and a nice cardboard box. "B" just wraps it in paper.

"A" charges $2.00 - "B" only charges $1.00

But in 10% of the "B" hamburgers you will find a dead fly.

I'll spend the extra dollar and buy my burgers from "A"

It's more like "A" buys their burgers from "B" and charges you 100% profit for a fancy box and to check for flies. I will buy two instead. I like Hobbyking and accept what I get.

You are correct. I'll pay the additional for service before and after the sale.

"A" Sells lipos for $130 - "B" sells them for $20
1 out of 4 lipos from B are DOA.
I'll buy 3 from B and chuck the dead one, have two good lipos and pocket the $60 in savings.

Oh yeah why does A charge me $9.95 for shipping when B in China only charges $2.99 on a small part.

Oh and C "local store" doesn’t have that lipo in stock but they can order it for only $175 and a weeks wait and another trip to the store.

Nothing wrong with that.

But when a $30 foamy shows up at your door instead of 3 LiPos, just chalk it up to your mistake and place a new order.

its a gamble.... they have the best servo extensions.... the same exact one TBM sells for 4x the price... also the spektrum remote satellite extensions are awesome too at 1/5 the price horizon sells them for and better quality than genuine spektrum extensions

ive been lucky so far, and will stick to small orders.... i would never order a motor from them thats for sure.

Yeah that sucks plus with all that talk of 'We check every order four times and cross check weights to make sure every order is correct"

I think your ARF would weight a lot more than a $30 foamy.

So far I only have 1 DOA battery.

My other 30 orders have been right. I'm sure my turns coming though.

Oh I did get simi-bunt by Hobby King via ebay on this motor.

I needed a 63-74 200. They are $80 at Hobby King but I got one off ebay for $60. Turns out the motor was mislabeled by Hobby King and is really a 63-54 250 for $40. So I paid $60 for a used $40 motor. My fault for not looking really close at the picture on ebay. Never did hear back from the seller.

Also keep the foamy because HK will surely loose the return shipment, blame you and won't ship your lipos without 3 more months of "checking the warehouse"
