According to them the F-16 is no longer in service with the USAF. I wonder when they are going to tell all of us that continue to work on and fly F-16's. Maybe I wont have to deploy to Afghanistan this year since they are no longer in service. They need to stick to what they know, farm equipment.

When I was on the AMA Show Team, we had two full scale John Deere flying lawnmowers. They were our primary act, the crowd went nuts over them, even over our warbird reenactment which was a big hit. If you elarge the lawnmower plans to full scale and overpower them, (we used Fox 2.4 engines) they were a blast to fly and the yellow and green John Deere colors really stood out on a clear day.

The model above is a scaled replica of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, which was developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force in 1976. It was originally designed as a lightweight day fighter, evolved into an all-weather, multi-role aircraft. Since its beginning, over 4,400 aircraft have been built, and they are still flying to this day!

The sentence when I read it just over two hours ago said "they are no longer in service" and I read it several times to make sure i saw it correctly. I have a feeling they were advised of the error and corrected it immediately. I have to admire their quick work at fixing their error.

You're probably right. I had a plastic model of the F-16 in the late 70s and had the opportunity to see the Thunderbirds fly them. They are very cool planes.
