Let's hope we won't have further regulations forced on us.
With all of the extra large giant scale airplanes (100lbs+) out there and the readily available GPS devices, that could be used as an autopilot out of the line of sight, I'm surprised that this is the first time someone has attempted it.
Not a good day for our hobby...

I like how the icon on Fox's home page is the E-flite F-86. It's crap like this that will cost us this hobby.

I like how they said large scale remote controlled aircraft and then later stated he had an F-86 delivered to him. If it is indeed the E-flite F-86 then I hope he was not planning on causing much damage???
You can guarantee this will be used in the future proposal from the FAA...may not have much merit as this is (so far) a recent isolated incident.
We'll wait and see.
