Take-down of person shooting plane with laser

It is hard to believe someone would point a laser at a pilot in a plane, but here it is:

I once got the attention of a police helicopter that was out with a searchlight for a few hours in the middle of the night by waving road flares above my head in my front yard.
When they finally put their search light on me I dropped the flares and gave them a full moon, and then 2 fingers. I wonder where the video of that wound up.

I saw a video of the rock band Kiss. A dude was pointing a laser at the singer. Boy was he pissed . I think they trough the guy out.

I went back and took a look - there is a couple of videos shown ahead of laser pointer video.

I used that article as a reference simply because it had a nice chart of laser incidents. The "Us" I think are the techno-geeks who edit the blog. DOesn't change the point that dumb-*****&$ pointing lasers at aircraft is an all too common thing.

My wife flys for an airline based in Minneapolis and she told me their aircraft was painted with a green lazor while landing in Lansing, MI. about a month ago. The pilot of the aircraft said it was a tripod mounted lazor, and they were completely blinded. As far as I know, no one has been caught yet.
