Default FM to 2.4 radio conversion

Hello everyone, I am a rookie pilot and have a question about converting my JR 9303 FM radio to 2.4. Horizon has a module and reciever package for 109.99, it sounds good but I was wondering if there is something better out there and if not has anybody had any trouble with converting.

Thanks! Eric

Attached is a unbiased opinion of the FrSky System. This is far superior to Spektrum and at 1/4 of the cost and is available with Telemetry at a small additional cost. Unfortunately it is so popular, stocks sell out overnight. Just keep looking on all of the Chinese sites for available stock.

Hitec makes a module to fit JR radios that uses Hitec 2.4 receivers. I have one in my 9303 and it works fine.
