Anybody interested in flying this weekend. Yes i know it christmas weekend. Im thinking of going monday. Made a couple changed to the you can do that I wAnt to test out. ITs going to be 40 degrees, partly sunny and 8mph wind.

Hi All hope you all are all ready for X mess
Are we going to pylon Race this year 2012 if so , is it still the club 40 ?
Is any buddy going to do the military planes ? Or is everyone going to the Q-500 !!!!! Thanks Chaz [:-]

pylon racing is on for 2012. I havent made a schedule yet. CLub 40 is still the main event, but Iwould like to try and start some Q500 racing. There is at least three of us that have Q500 planes that have raced with NEPRO. Well technically there are only 2 racers that race Q500, but I am going to get another viper. I have engines ready to go just need to get the plane. I am going to call a meeting soon for racers, helpers and anybody else interested racing or helping, Ill keep everybody posted.

Charlie. Im not sure what they are using for servos in there q500 planes. try asking these guys. Or the Q500 forum under pylon racing in the RCU forums.

Great time flying today, what was the trade you were talking about??Is that the plane in the pic you posted earlyer in this thread??, Lets talk about it I really like my yak but I must say I am getting board with it, may be time for something differant

I can't think of a batter bunch of guys to fly with on the first day of the know year !

If mother nature will cooperate I am all for it. I managed to get in half a dozen flights with the little copters. before I had to leave. what a great day, wish I could have stayed longer.
looks like I am going to need a new prop hub for my dle 30 tried drilling and using a back out on the bolts but it went off center and screwed it up.
Id say that will teach me to forget to retighten the prop bolts but I bet sooner or later it will bite me in the backside again. Oh well, looks like the Cap will be sidelined for a bit and I will be bringing the RV8 and the helis out this weekend.

Steve,
It shouldnt be a problem getting parts for that motor, Troybuilt models services them, It may be worth your time just to send the hole thing in for repair. With the amount of time on that thing it may be time to freshen it up anyway?? I bet they would do a compressin check and if needed do the piston and rings. Cheep.
