Anyone else having issues with RCU pages loading? I posted a ad earlier and it took forever. Maybe it is my computer but it seems to be fine on any other site

Some days slow, some days not. I've found that I can totally back out of RCU & sign back in & for some reason it will load up just fine. Don't really know why, it just does it. A couple of weeks ago the pics in the threads wasn't working right. A few days later it was fine. Go figure. I've read some posts that say the new owners are " improving" RCU. It seems to me they are just screwing it up !!!!

I'm having all the same issues as well so I don't think it is your computer twostroke.

They have every post ever made still on the site. It makes sense to me that they need to delete some of those 10 year old posts. Especially the old Club House posts. I wonder if that would speed the site up.

I don't know if this post will load up or not. I'm having the problem more & more. This AM I've tried to post 3 times & got a diferent result each time !! From "server error to " this action not allowed." To be totally honest, I'm getting awfully tired of this crap!!! I'm thinking it's not worth the bother on RCU. I hate it cause I've had a lot of enjoyment over the years from RCU. I guess maybe ALL good thing DO have to come to an end, huh. OK I'm going to hold my breath & maybe, just maybe this post will go through!!!

OK,I just entered the last post & it wouldn't display, all that came back to me was "server error" 80004005 & "login time expired". The only way I was able to get back on this post was go to "my forums" on the home page & come through that way. Oh well, I think it's time to "sign out" of RCU & either take a long break from it or go to the other guys. I'm tired soo tired!!! Here goes, I'm gonna click on OK. I wonder what will happen THIS time ????

Given that the site is free to most all of us if it loads slow, or fails to load at all, once in awhile I'm not going to get too bent out of shape. BTW - I've had issues the past 3 days using Google Chrome and Safari. Fails to load, loads slowly, etc. So it goes.

Even though I am retired and don't feel as rushed as I was when still working, the site has been noticably slower the last week or so. I just figured it was undergoing some de-bugging, or fine-tuning. We all get spoiled by the very fast transfer rates...I remember when 200 Baud was fast, with the handset of the phone hooked up acostically to a series interface on the TRS-80 Radio Shack computer, sometime in the late 70' earley 80's!!!!

Been getting a lot of this lately...
Service Unavailable
HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
Rock on RCU, starting to remind of the last months of RCOnline.....

The three new servers were ordered from Hobby Queen. One won't power up and the other two were never shipped.

Most jokes aside, the latency is extremely high on your end causing long loading times and laggy performance. Tell me where the servers are located RCU.

I just changed the compatibility view on my PC and all the pages are loading much faster! I have a brand new HP so this may be a new feature, I don,t know. If you can try it it really helped me!
