RE: Snow
I had to laugh today ,some weather forecaster on the radio was all excited over the warm trend this winter. Someone coined a phrase and now they are calling this "arctic upheaval " ! Geesh....I wonder what they called it 100-200 years ago when this cycle came around...........? A "mild winter" ?

That pic sure does look beautiful. I've had my share of it with winters in Indiana. However, the last 12 winters I've spent in warm, sunny Florida. Flying in the summer (In.), & fishing in the winter (Fl.) It don't get better that that.

March ?? It don't get hot till around the middle of May. I'm outta here by the middle of April.( I have a full time home in Northern Indiana) The people down here say " there's always a nice breeze," yeah, that breeze is 95 degrees, not for me.

RE: Snow
Hey, LIVEWIRE. Wasn't trying to make anybody feel bad. I lived in northern Indiana most of my life. So I know what a real winter snow is. As a matter of fact it's been over 12 yrs since I've touched a snow shovel. I think I kinda miss it, & scrapping the truck windshield & going out to get the mail & busting my butt slipping on the ice. Oh, no,wait a minute, I just had a thought, I don't remember seeing any " bikini girls" at the beach up there !! The biggest decision I have to make down here is; do I fish in the bay, or do I fish along the beach where the " bikini girls" are. Did I mention, I DO have a very good set of binoculars in my boat !! ( To look for fish of course)

Snow? What's that? Only saw 2 falls this year, and on one, by the time I got out and started the snowthower, it was already turning into a messy slush. In fact, most of January and February so far, the temperature has been over freezing, very unusual for the Sunny Southern Shore of Lake Erie. In fact, I've been enjoying the first couple months of my 22nd year of all weather flyer. Sure beats the heck out of March 1990, when I had to get my flights in with a Guillow rubber FF job on a VERY frozen Lake HArvannan in Northern Sweden.
