    Fly R/C

Just curious, but I just received my June 2012 issue of Fly R/C and Thayer Syme and Scott Stoops are no longer listed as editor and contributor to the magazine. I considered both to be two of the best journalists in the R/C business and I wonder what happened to them. Looper

    RE: Fly R/C

Its my understanding that Thayer and Fly RC parted ways. Erick did a great job here and when he moved on to print, with RC Heli Pilot, so I expect Fly RC will remain a great publication.

I don't think that any business or personal details should be any of our concern.

    RE: Fly R/C

[:@] I didn't renew Fly RC this year , and it has nothing to do with the personal lives of any of the staff ...... I already get the AMA mag. and I seldom finish reading that one in a month's time , so paying extra for the same content really wasn't practical . They both have almost exactly the same ads for all the same products , and only the very few written articles are different ..... Even those , the written articles , all eventually get around to the same subjects , , , , , How to run a gasser , , how to rig pull pull surface linkage , , , How to keep your mitts outta the prop (safety articles) , , and so on .....

........ Fly RC only offered what I was already getting with MA , Same ol Same ol , and so was eliminated ...... I'll buy a fistfull of 11/6 wood props with the subscription money I saved
