Default New to R/C

I just bought my first R/C car, a used e revo brushless. I just bought some new 25C 11.1V 5000 mah lipo batteries. I was wondering what spur gear and pinion gear I should use with these batteries. Also, was wondering if I need to buy a lipo cut off for the ESC or anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Marco, first welcome to the RC hobby. Use your noggin and you will have many many hours of enjoyment. You will see a lot of good deals on the internet for parts, just remember, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Second, before you take any advice as gospel, do your research. There are some self proclaimed, instant experts around that will give you all kinds of bad information. Get the same advice from several members before you do anything.

Third, before you shop with any one online hobby supplier, do your research and check thier reputation before spending any money with them. There are some really scammy online dealers out their.

Never send cash, check or money orders for any online order. If they don't take paypal, run!

and last go to the car section and or battery section of this forum for questions and answers to your RC car stuff. They deal with cars and truck mostly.

OK let's go have some fun!!!!
