Whats so bad about 30 oz/sq'. Would help to have more details on the plane. Type of plane, name, scale? and some pictures would help.

For hand launch it may be a bit (how do I say it +) interesting

Try launching it from a dolly first. I have a lanier F4 prop jet and it's wing loading is 28oz/sq' I would not try to hand launch it in my right mind but it flies great just needs a lot of speed compared to a 40 size sport plane to take off. Lots of jet and large scale planes are over 50ozs/sq'. If I was you and youd flown a prop jet or something fats before I'd put it on a dolly and test fly it myself. If you haven't done that befrore let someone more expirienced test fly it.

About the dolly. I have heard of a few ways to make them but the way i'd do it is make it about 18" long. Build it with trike gear. Put in a spare receveir, servo and battery. Now you use the servo to run the nose wheel and plug it into the receiver rudder channel. If you have a rudder on the plane you'll have to be careful about how you set up the linkage because you can't reverse the rudder on the plane. If you dont have rudder just build the dolly and if you need to reverse the servo when your done from your tx on the rudder ch.

Hope all this helps

James

Actually, your wing loading is 28.444 oz per square ft.
Maybe replace that chair with some wheels?

Provided you have enough power, it will be FAST, that's all. There is no "fall out of the sky, won't ever fly at all" wing loading limit. I know someone with a few planes that have loadings over 40oz per square foot, and they fly.

What'd you build it out of, marine plywood and concrete?

You might need a wee bit of left hand aileron to offset the 2 totaly different thrust lines on the JPG. Plane . . . . . . .. . .

Next time make sure you 'paste' the engines in the same way . . .

GOOD ONE !!!!

I heard that when Doug ran the antenna out the back of the fuse, instead of along the wing, the CG changed by 5%

if you are going for a vertical takeoff/landing then I don't see any problem with the high wing loading, except that the stall speed isn't going to be as slow as a trainer's.......My main concern is with the thrust....The engines gotta have enough to pull it out of the ground at at least 3/4 throttle.......Other than that I see no problem....
