Default Wierd Crash

That's a case of everything going wrong at the same time. You have an underpowered airplane in poor lift conditions with trees to fly over soon after takeoff. They had no margin of error so when the turbulence or "air pocket" hit them there was nothing they could do.

[:@] 100% Pilot error , , That guy had way too long of a ground run , and still only was barely in the air . Anywhere from about the end of minute one , he had an obligation to his passengers to cut the throttle and taxi back to unload some of the overweight condition that was preventing flight . The low air density of high altitude notwithstanding (it was mentioned as a possible implication in the film) it was quite obvious after a full minute of ground run that the plane was far too overloaded to fly ! Watching the film , I was almost to the conclusion that the Pilot intended to DRIVE to the destination rather than fly !

As a side note , He'd have never gotten into the air at any of the small airfields near me . We just don't have the kind of open ground to support a take off roll that long .
