HTML/Framer Virus?
I recently installed a new anti-virus program because I was getting my search results re-directed. Now, whenever I click on certain links within RCU I get a virus detected warning. The two links that seem to be infected are the search button and the buy/sell button. The program is AVG anti-virus 2012.
This is a quote from the AVG website.
HTML/Framer is a script type malware. If the HTML/Framer is detected while browsing websites and internet resources, it means the website or resource is infected. HTML/Framer is usually an HTML code using a legal IFRAME tag with parameters to hide the actual IFRAME content. The source of the IFRAME tag leads to other malicious remote content, usually exploits, drive-by-downloads or malicious advertisements. This is the way malware can be downloaded and activated on a host computer.
Anyone else having this problem or is my anti-virus program too suspicious?

AVG is one messed up Antivirus. It's actually an error. Here is how to fix it; http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...4230836AAAV0AJ Norton Antivirus and Google Chrome says the page is fine, as well as Virustotal. It's just an error on AVG.

Thanks Ken.
I've up - dated my Java to the latest version and it did not help, the only way to access most of RCU for me now is to turn off my AVG 2012.
AVG tells me the false positive issue that collector1231 is talking about was resolved in 2011.

I use AVG 2012 (paid version) on the laptop I access RCU with and I haven't had any problems reported. Hopefully the programmers can figure it out.

I use AVG 2012 Business at the office and AVG Free at home, same virus warning. Seems to have gotten sorted out yesterday though....
