I agree. For some of the ads, especially from chicom, it's lost in translation. As for USA companies it's just a lack of caring. Things like that should be caught before the ads are sent out. I see it all the time in news articles where the editor should have picked up the slack from the reporters lack of grammar but no one cares and out the door it goes misspellings ,bad grammar and all.
As for individuals it's the sign of the times where they are "too busy" to actually read what they type before sending it out, along with the texting and code speak that they figure "it's good enough" and the person reading it will figure it out. What's really bad is when the person can't find the shift ,period, and enter keys when typing long winded replies!
We all slip-up but that's what the edit button is for !

Is it just me? Or is the lack of grammar as well as proper spelling becoming rampant.
Even in the add's here on RCU there are misspelled word's as well as the improper use of grammar.
Here is an example,
You misspelled "ads". Add is an arithmetic function. Ad is an advertisment.

You were saying?

Speaking of grammar, you don't need an apostrophe in "ad's" or "word's" ... should be plural, not possessive.

No question mark after rampant, instead of a period.
Sneaky.

i tend to slack off and type more loosely on forums... i know i shouldnt because when it comes time for the real thing, those nasty habits sneak in there... like usin a lot of"..." when just a period is sufficient... or saying prolly or yur instead of spelling it correctly... but ohh well
